As a member of BAFTA I get to a vote at the awards.
Which I know, isn't really that interesting. But around this time of year and early 2007, I get invited to a lot of screenings of films, many of which won't be released until later in the year. Most are very good. And all are free.
I also get the option of bringing a guest, so I was thinking, why not offer an open invitation to anyone reading my blog?
So, if you want to see a film, free, send a comment. I'll start with the first person and work my way down the list as films pop up, then go back to the top and start again. Gonna be pretty embarassing if no one is interested. Anyway, first up is Warner Bros Blood Diamonds. 6pm this Sunday night.
Any takers?
That's a great idea - but I'm going to be singing carols on sunday (well, kind of singing/ miming if I'm honest).
We were talking about Blood Diamonds last night. A friend wants to take his girlfriend. He figures it could save him a fortune on his engagement ring.

If BAFTA can fly me over from Munich, put me up in a hotel that has WLAN and it's not Sunday, I'm up for it too.

I'm in. But I can't do Sunday, is that okay? Can I still be on the list?
